Description

The following ZIP file contains a set of XML files (previously published on the MSExchange Teams blog for Exchange 2007) which can be used via the serverManagerCMD command on Windows 2008 to install the required Windows elements for Exchange 2010 to function.

Usage

Download the ZIP file the your Exchange Server - extract the files to a directory and then open a Windows 2008 command prompt.

Type in the following:

serverManagerCMD -inputpath <path to xml files>\Exchange-base.xml (do not run this command on the the Edge Role)

serverManagerCMD -inputpath <path to xml files>\<XML File which matches the role of the server>

If there is no file matching the naming of the server role then all you need to run is the Exchange-Base.xml file
