Overview

This download contains the portable program file for the Exchange 2007 SSL Portable SAN Generator. Essentially this tool will generate a PowerShell (PS1) file which can be executed on your Client Access Server which will produce a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) file that can then be sent onto you chosen SLL provider. The tool is based upon DigiCerts online generation tool which is located here: https://www.digicert.com/easy-csr/exchange2007.htm which was written by Paul Tiemann.

Exchange Administrators may wish to use this tool when they are in situations where the do not have access to the Internet within the installation that they are on. You can generate the PS1 file and execute it to produce the CSR file for sending at a later point.

The program also allows to export the full details of the CSR command that you have created for Exchange should you need to examine it at a later point in time.

System Requirements:

This program requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed on the computer from which is it run from. The output of the program (the PS1 file) should be executed on the Client Access Server which the SSL certificate is to be created for.

Installation:

Download the following compressed SEA to either your client machine or Client Access Server – Double click on the file to execute the SEA process – choose a location for the file Extract and then click on “OK”.

When the extract has completed navigate to the directory and run the file.
