Just a quick post to let you know that I have made a couple of changes to the look and feel of the site. The first thing that you will notice is that I have completely changed the site Template. The one that I had been using was nice but one of the defaults supplied with my content manager. Although it has done well for the 4 months the site has been live – I didn’t think that it suited the brand that I have been trying to put over.

I have also moved a couple of the menus around (I might of not finished this yet!) to try and give the site a slightly less “busy” feel – I have also removed the Categories menu for the time being (I have seen from problems with it where the categories vanish when on certain pages) – however all content can still be accessed via Browse Articles and Search functionality.

I am not typically a fan of making wide sweeping changes to sites (such as described above) when they have gone live as both the viewers and myself as the admin lose that level of continuity that is built up, however there were a number of things that I was not that pleased with from the go live date which I did not have time to change or look at as I was in a rush to port content over from my previous blog.

I am hoping that you like the new look (I find the blues soothing :-)), I have a few more changes that I would like to make over the next few weeks, however these will mainly be cosmetic and not as drastic as today.
