Dear all, as promised for those of you whom were present in Paris and indeed all of my readers I am publishing the slides and my personal notes from this event – I hope that you find them useful – bear in mind they are my personal thoughts that I had during the construction of the presentation so they might not make total sense but should help out none the less.

The day itself was great fun (including getting through security at the American Embassy) and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting a number of Exchange professionals whom are located in France which are considering or in the process of moving to Exchange 2007.

I was also given the chance to meet fellow Exchange MVP Arnaud Alcabez at the event whom is a really nice guy and great to talk with and it was nice that he could take the time to support the day.

Further to the day I had a great experience getting locked in my own Hotel room (long story), made good friends with a Gendarmerie (another long story) and had a great time with all the natives of Paris that I came into contact with. On a side note – Paris is a wonderful place – the food is great, the people are nice and the sites are brilliant – so I can recommend to anyone to have a visit. It helps if you speak a little French (but its not essential) but the overall experience it one to remember!

For those of you whom could not attend; my presentation and notes are based around migration thought processes that you might consider when planning a move from your existing mail infrastructure to Exchange Server 2007, additionally the presentation covers the high availability options.

I would like to thank both Solutions Exchange and .:ENow for inviting me to the event – and indeed my fellow presenters Jay Paul Gundotra (CEO .:ENOW) and Matthieu Cantau whom were loads of fun to present with.

Hopefully I should have some photos post real soon.

Cheers
